Ahiru no Sora Hindi Sub :

Lacking what is considered the most important asset in basketball, Sora Kurumatani has struggled with his short height since the inception of his love for the game. Despite missing this beneficial aspect, Sora’s unwavering drive never allowed his small stature to dictate his ability to play, believing strongly in trying his hardest and persistently practicing to prove his capability.

In hopes of satisfying his mother’s wishes, Sora enters Kuzuryuu High School to become a member of the basketball club and compete wholeheartedly in tournaments. However, Sora is disappointed to find out that the boy’s basketball team is nothing but a retreat for punks who have no interest in the sport. Sora also comes to learn that brothers Chiaki and Momoharu Hanazono—whom he becomes acquainted with—have also lost their once spirited motivation to play.

Determined to revive the basketball team, Sora challenges the boys to a match against him, where his quick feet and swift movements overwhelm the group. Gradually affected by Sora’s impressive skills, sheer effort, and tireless devotion to basketball, the boys unexpectedly find their burnt-out passion for the game rekindling once again

Ahiru no Sora Hindi Sub :

We start of this basketball anime with a fletchling highschooler with short man’s disease named Kuramatani. A gimmick on the formula by giving us a main character who is genetically and stereotypically disadvantaged when it comes to basketball, instantly turning him into the underdog. Aside from this, the main crux of the narrative so far is the *lack* of “a sky” for this duck to fly in. Meaning no basketball team.

Due to the school’s requirement for all the students to join a club, the boys basketball team has become a delinquent bludger’s paradise for those not wanting to participate in club activities, so by bullying away any recruitees for the basketball team, the delinquents don’t have to play any basketball.

So the crux of the narrative, at least at first, seems to be that of a drama anime motivating these delinquents who obviously have latent potential (and they are in the OP, so they must stick around). I’m a big fan of the delinquent aesthetic from anime like GTO, YuYu Hakusho and Beelzebub so I find this drama pleasing. The delinquents being one of the most nihilistic archetypes for a highschooler to fall into (others being suicide and inceldom, I guess) its going to be like pulling teeth getting these blokes to find meaning in the corporatized school world, but whatever works I will be looking forward to it.

Other than this, all the male characters seem to have a huge hard on for dick measuring and get super triggered whenever they are emasculated. So our ugly duckling short man might be just the medicine they need. But they are also super lazy, especially Chiaki. Needing to be the biggest dick while not working towards it is completely contradictory (and I am so very guilty of this XD ) but we shall see how Kuramatani will break the cycle.

Chiaki especially seems to be all over the place. At first he seems to be a man of morals. He doesn’t like weaklings, but respects Kuramatani a lot for not giving up. But he only stands up for him near the very end of the episode after having many opportunities to do so beforehand, and still refuses to partake in a game after the other delinquents were hard baited into it.

But this works into his lazy anarchism with his hate of the three Rs “Rules, Regulations and Requirements”. The man does what pleases him, and putting himself into a situation in which he is not free displeases him. And a peephole pleases him very much.

The only other thing I have to say in regards to characters and plot is that the obvious foreshadowing of Kuramatani’s mum giving him his shoes before she passes away has led him down this stubborn path. Living his mom’s dream, and fulfilling his promise to her. To reunite with his mom freud style, if you will. I expect more equally foundational backstories from each of our delinquents, especially the twin brothers who should wind up being two sides of the same coin.

Ahiru no Sora Hindi Sub Extra :-

It’s always interesting to see how the animation in these sports anime measure up to one another. Action tends to look like ass when the animation isn’t god tier (or you are Yuasa). But I thoroughly enjoyed this one for it’s vanquish-style slow-motion-button everytime our main character did a thing.

Idk, it managed to have that kinetic animation with Kuramatani moving in the opposite direction he initially was moving in a moment ago, and taking that in via slow motion was funny as well as engaging. The play by play analysis didn’t bother me either. Combining this build up with the occasional fast paced animation with moves that we intimately understand could be a set up for peak gasming.

And I have to add that our ugly duckling doing a duck in with some duck animation reminded me of Ping Pong the Animation, which is to say, fucking poetry.

I suppose I’ll mention the sound design, but I have a flatteringly amateur sound analysis skills. I liked the way the sound dominated a few scenes, such as the OST stopping when Chiaki kicked down the door, or Kuramatani cutting Momoharu off mid sentence with a basketball bounce. And the OST really jived with the scenes I thought. Not distracting and only increasing the oomf of it a
